Obituary

Thomas Joseph Sidleck, 79, of Lusby, MD passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill East. Born on November 23, 1943 in Wilmington, DE, he was a son of the late Stanley and Anna (Horwhat) Sidleck. A 1962 graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School, Tom served 4 years in the U.S. Navy before employment with Potomac Electric Power Company (Pepco) as the Senior Foreman for Roving Maintenance, from which he retired after 34 years. Tom loved life. He loved nothing more than travelling around the country with his wife and family. Tom was an avid sailor and fisherman and was a member of the Solomons Island Yacht Club, where he served as a former Commodore. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marie (Hudock) Sidleck, a son Thomas Jr. (Michelle), Baltimore, MD; and daughters Kelly (Mike) Granata, Sykesville, MD and Lori (Adam) Carson, Ocean City, MD; a brother Edward (Barbara) Sidleck, Lehighton; and his grandchildren Molly, Thomas III, Riley, Tyler, Jake, and Lily; nieces and nephews. The family will be planning a Celebration of Life Service that will be held at The Solomons Island Yacht Club Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.
