Stanley Robert Siminitus

Stanley R. Siminitus Jr., 64, of Primrose, died Thursday, July 1, at his residence.

Stanley was born Feb. 24, 1957, in Pottsville, a son of the late Anna P. (Polny) and Stanley R. Siminitus Sr.

He was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Minersville, and St. Matthew the Evangelist of the Holy Family Parish, Minersville. He was a graduate of Minersville Area High School, Class of 1975. He was a lifetime member of South Cass Fire Company.

Stanley is survived by a sister, Patricia Siminitus; two brothers, Joseph, husband of Leighann Siminitus, and Richard, husband of Janet Siminitus.

A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the the Rev. Jason F. Stokes officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Cass Fire Company. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka No. 2 Cemetery. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, is entrusted with the arrangements.
