Shirley V. Carras

Shirley V. Carras, 97, passed away Tuesday, February 18th, at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg. Shirley was born in Shamokin, Pa. on June 14, 1927, a daughter of the late Irene (Waldron) and Frank Visnefski. She was the widow of Louis Carras. In addition to her parents, and her husband, Louis, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Visnefski, sisters, Maryann Freed, Jean West, Lorraine Fanelli, and Rita Visnefksi. Shirley is survived by a son, James, husband of Ann Carras. Nieces and nephews including Sharon L. Koury. All Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment at St. John's Cemetery, Pottsville. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.
