Sharon L. Laudeman, 67, of Minersville, passed away Saturday after a courageous fight with breast cancer at Geisinger Hospital with her husband, George, and daughter in law, Jen, by her side.
Born in Pottsville, on May 29, 1953, she was the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Gressick) Bramley both of Minersville.
She was the wife of George R. Laudeman having been married for 48 years.
She was a 1971 graduate of Minersville Area High School. She worked for H. L. Miller’s and was the Office Manager for Laudeman Termite and Pest Control.
She was devoted to her entire family especially her husband, kids, Brian and Chrissy, and grandchildren, Emily, Jared, Cali, and Colt. Sharon volunteered for all of Brian and Chrissy’s and then her grandchildren’s activities for youth football, cheerleading, Minersville youth wrestling, Minersville Little League, and high school level helping with fundraisers, concession stands, or whatever was needed. Sharon loved attending and wouldn’t miss all of their cheerleading, football, wrestling, basketball, baseball, and softball games.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother and father, Robert and Dorothy (Gressick) Bramley; her son, Brian R. Laudeman; her daughter, Christa M. (Laudeman) Graeff; her sister, Diane (Bramley) Cola.
Sharon is survived by her husband, George; and her grandchildren Emily and Jared Graeff, son in law, Fred Graeff, grandchildren Cali and Colt Laudeman, daughter in law, Jen; her sisters, Kathy (Bramley) Polny, husband Dave, Melissa (Bramley) Thompson, husband Chucky; her brother Dave Bramley, wife Eileen; her sister in laws, Kim (Laudeman) Valukevich, husband Lenny, and Jane (Laudeman) Shellhamer, husband Mark; nieces and nephews.
All services shall be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Brian R. Laudeman and Christa M. Graeff scholarship, which can be made to the MASD Scholarship Fund, PO Box 787, Minersville, PA 17954. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, is entrusted with her arrangements.
