Rose Marie Curran, 81, of Minersville passed away Monday, January 22nd, at the Orwigsburg Center.
Rose was born in Shamokin, on June 2, 1942, a daughter of the late Rose (Slodysko) and Edward Weinhoffer.
She was the widow of Alfred C. Curran Jr.
Rose was a graduate of St. Edwards Catholic High School, Shamokin.
She was the Co-owner Operator of the Minersville Bakery.
Rose was a member of the Minersville Lionettes, M.A.H.S. 5th Quarter Club, Nativity Green & Gold Club, President of the Minersville Weight Watchers Club.
She loved to travel, and go to the casino's. Especially Las Vegas.
Rose is survived by a daughter, Karen, wife of Mark Donley, a son, Stephen Curran. Grandchildren; Jonathan & Joshua Donley, and Stephanie Curran.
Rose is also survived by a sister, Lisa, wife of William Funk, and four brothers, Edward, husband of Carol Weinhoffer, Richard, husband of Cecelia Weinhoffer, Michael, husband of Anne Weinhoffer, and James Weinhoffer. Also survived by 5 nieces, 4 nephews, 5 Great Nieces, and 2 Great Nephews.
All are respectfully invited to attend a Visitation, with calling hours from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, January 29th at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. Minersville.
A Religious Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00 PM with Reverend Jason F. Stokes officiating.
Private interment Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
