Ralph Stevens Gerahrd

Ralph S. Gerhard, 72, of MarLin, passed away Monday, March 29th, at LVHN Schuylkil . Ralph was born in Pottsville, on October 11, 1948, a son of the late Beryl (Lee) and Ralph Gerhard. He was the husband of Carol M. (Close) Gerhard. He attended Juniata College. He was a former Residential Service Aide at the Hamburg State Center, Hamburg. He was a member of the MarLin Hose Co. and of AFSCME. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a Step-son Scott Palokas, and a brother, Roger Gerhard. Ralph is survived by his wife, Carol, a son, Michael Gerhard, two step daughters, Missy, wife of Eddie Hahner, Pam, wife of Mark Imler. Ralph is also survived by a sister, Eileen Rump and a brother, Henry Gerhard. Also surviving are grandchildren Shelby and J.R. Hahner, McKayla & Allie Jones. Visitation will be held 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Monday, April 5th at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. in Minersville.
