Phyllis A. Wanchalk

Phyllis A. Wanchalk, 74, of , Minersville passed away Sunday, January 7th, surrounded by her family, at LVHN Schuylkill East, Pottsville. Phyllis was born in Pottsville, Pa. on March 12, 1949, a daughter of the late Angelina (Sofia) and Paul Laudeman. She was the widow of George M. Wanchalk. A lifelong resident of Minersville. She was a 1967 graduate of Minersville Area High school. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Phyllis is survived by two daughters, Denise Wanchalk and her partner, Shawn O'Brien and Melissa, wife of Walter Troy.  Phyllis is also survived by a sister, Diana, wife of Michael Dodds, two brothers, Michael, husband of Linda Laudeman, David, husband of Camille Laudeman. She is also survived by Grandson Ken Purcell, Granddaughter Taylor O'Brien, nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 13th at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. in Minersville, PA. with a Christian Funeral Service following at 11:00 AM. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
