Kim Margaret Kotrochos

Kim Margaret Kotrochos, 71, of Minersville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 15th at The Gardens at York Terrace.

She was born February 23, 1954, a daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Mitchell) Kotrochos

. Kim was a 1972 graduate of Minersville Area High School and attended Kutztown University.

She was employed by the Hershey Company until her retirement in 2022.

An avid New York Jets fan, she enjoyed astronomy and putzing around in her garden, and spending time with her pets.

Kim also enjoyed talking about the ‘good old days’, Candyland, The Other Side, Mario’s, Jake’s & Sparky’s, all staples of the Minersville community.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents and her Brother-In-Law, Timothy Jenkins. She is survived by her sister Karen, of Schuylkill Haven and her partner, Rex Riley of Raystown Lake.  

We would like to thank  Dr. Tavaria and Staff of  Minersville, Penn State Medical Hershey, Oncology Dept. of LVHN Schuylkill and LVHN Cedar Crest, Geisinger Pottsville Radiation & Oncology , the Lehigh Valley Hospice and everyone at The Gardens of York Terrace.

Per Kim’s request all services are private. In lieu of flowers Karen asks that donations are made in Kim’s name to an animal charity of your choice.

Interment Schuylkill Memorial Park.
