Jean Albertini Obituary

Jean M. Albertini, 92, of Minersville, passed away Thursday, April 8th, at Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill Assisted Living. Jean was born in Mackeysburg, on May 13, 1928, a daughter of the late Anna (O'Boyle) Tobin and Aloysious Tobin. She was the widow of Henry R. Albertini. She was a member of Saint Matthew the Evangelist Minersville, and of the former St. Barbara Church, Minersville. She was once a Seamstress in the local garment industry. She was a former member of the Saint Ann's Sodality. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Henry, who she is now joined together again with after 40 years of his passing, February 24, 1981. Also preceding in death, A Brother, Aloysious Tobin. Sisters; Philomena Lipshaw, Catherine Campion and her son-in-law Steven F. Schwartz. Jean is survived by five daughters, Karen, and her Companion Lee Felsburg , Susan, wife of David Nevada, Lisa, wife of Mark DiRenzo, Gina, wife of James Bohorad, Jane, wife of David Plachko. Jean is also survived by three sisters, Elizabeth, wife of Charles Lavis, AnnMarie Urmanavage, Rose, wife of John Koppenhaver. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Matthew & Mark Schwartz, Jared & Melanie Nevada, Devan DiRenzo, Alyssa Hager, Bryce Hager, Dylan Bohorad, Tyler & Jacob Plachko. Great grandchildren; Ava, Cole & Kael Schwartz, Addilyn Campbell, Brixton McCabe, Paige & Paisley Borrell. Jean is also survived by a special niece, Patricia Forney, who held a very special place in her heart. Jean’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. Visitation will be held 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 13th at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. in Minersville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday at Saint Matthew the Evangelist Church of the Holy Family Parish in Minersville, with Reverend Jason F. Stokes officiating. Interment Saint Barbara Cemetery.
