Frank David Reed

Frank D. Reed, 52 of West West Terrace, Branch Township, entered our Lord’s kingdom on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Frank was born on April 6, 1968. He was the son of the late Frank and Shirley (Jones) Reed. Frank was the loving husband of his wife Jackie of 27 years and father of their son Tom. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Shirley Reed and brother Robert Reed. Surviving in addition to his wife and son are sisters Darla Fabiani and Donna Barnetsky. Frank is also survived by 5 nieces and 1 nephew and 1 great niece and 3 great nephews. Frank will be remembered for his jovial nature, playing the lead part in the South Pacific Musical at Minersville High, his involvement with Wreaths Across America and other helping organizations, and love of a good time with friends and family. One of Frank’s favorite pieces of advice when one of the family members (mostly one of the nieces) would be complaining about something was “Suck It Up Buttercup”. Frank was a direct descendant of Thomas Reed, Founder of town of Minersville Thomas Reed. Frank loved the holidays and always enjoyed Halloween. Frank was able to celebrate Halloween this year with family by having a fire pit set up in the driveway and giving out treats for the children and Jello shots for the adults. Frank and Jackie were season ticket holders of the Seattle Seahawks. He enjoyed watching and cheering on the Hawks. Frank and family had just returned to Schuylkill County after living in Washington State for 23 years. At this time due to COVID-19 all services shall be private and held at the convenience of the family.
