Eugene Mike Keller

Eugene “Mike” Keller, 69, of Palo Alto, passed peacefully in his home with his long-time partner, Rose Maurer, by his side. He was born in Reading on April 2, 1954, a son of the late Eugene A Keller and Margaret (Holland) Keller. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved going to the races and doing fireworks on the 4th of July Mike graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School in 1973. Worked at EA Keller Ironworks, MidAtlantic Canners and Cabela's until his retirement. In addition to his parents, he proceeded in death by 2 sisters, Annie Keller, and Mary Hargraeves. In addition to his partner, Rose Maurer, he is survived by 2 sons, Michael J (Mic) Keller of Mohrsville, Pa and Steven J Keller of Bernville, Pa., and a daughter, Melissa A. Rivera of Pottsville. Grandchildren, Nicholas R. Keller of Mohrsville, Halie Maurer, Jenea Maurer and Elias Rivera of Pottsville. Also surviving are 5 brothers, Dan Keller, Steve Keller, Ben Keller, Joe Keller and Pete Keller all of Berks County, nieces and nephews. All Services are private.
