Ethel Shirley George

Ethel Shirley George, 88, of Minersville, passed away Sunday, May 22nd, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg. . Ethel was born in Minersville, Pa. on December 31, 1933, a daughter of the late Clara (McClure) and Nelson George. She was of the Episcopalian Faith. Ethel was a long time employee of Messner & Hess Minersville, and then subsequently a clerk at the Rite Aid Kings Village. In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her sister, Marlene Kriner, and a niece Paula Kriner. Ethel is survived by nephews, Todd Kriner, Dr. Ronald Kriner, & David Kriner. A niece, Alicia Funderburk. A Visitation will be held 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 31st at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. in Minersville, PA. A Religious Service will be held at 10:30 AM with Fr. Kurt Kovalovich officiating. Interment at Mount Peace Cemetery
