Emil P. Seginak, 91, of Hazle Twp., passed away Tuesday, April 25th, at his home. Emil was born in Nesquehoning, Pa. on July 7, 1931, a son of the late Martha (Gerchak) and John Seginak. He was the husband of Leona (Platko) Seginak. Emil was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Hazleton. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. Emil was formerly employed as a Scientific Illustrator at U.S. Dept. of Interior, primarily involving Geological surveying. He was a devout catholic who served his church well. Emil is survived by his wife, Leona. Emil is also survived by a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Cremo, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was the last member of a family of nine brothers and sisters. All are respectfully invited to attend a Visitation 9:00 to 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 29th at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. in Minersville. A Religious Service will be held at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with Reverend Eugene Hradil officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church 5 E. 20th st. Hazleton, Pa. 18201 Interment at Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Cemetery.
