Dolores Ann Sorokach

Dolores Ann Sorokach, 83, of Owl Rd., Cass Twp., passed away Monday, September 19th, at her residence surrounded by her family in the loving care of her daughter, JoeAnn. Dolores was born in BranchDale, Pa. on October 1, 1938, a daughter of the late Marie (Wiscount) and Andrew  Guidas. She was the widow of Charles  Sorokach who died 1993. She was a member of Saint Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church Minersville. Dolores was a member of the St. Nicholas Womens Sodality.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Charles, she was preceded in death by a Grandson, Charles Sorokach Jr., a brother, George Guidas. Sisters; Marie Nye & Susanne Tobias,  Dolores is  survived by a daughter, JoeAnn, wife of  Michael Lisowski, a son, Charles, husband of  Dawn Sorokach. Dolores is also survived by her sisters, Elizabeth “Babe” Melocheck, twin sister, Dorothy Reider,  Arlene Romanowski, Andrea “Roni” Godwin, Antoinette “Toni” Wenner, and a brother, Andrew "Butch" Guidas. She is also survived by Grandchildren Mike Lisowski & Tiffany,  Charlene, wife of Tyler Witmer,  Becky Sorokach, Kevin Sorokach & fiancee’ Elena,  Great Grandchildren; Caleb & Cole Witmer, Nathan & Evan Pelachick, Emily & Owen Sorokach, Whitten Sorokach as well as a former daughter-in-law Kari, and granddaughter-in-law, Diana Sorokach. All services are private at the convenience of family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Cemetery Fund.  Interment at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.
