Darlene Marie Smith

Darlene Marie Smith, 60, of Minersville, passed away Wednesday, March 19th, at Tremont Heath & Rehabilitation Center . Darlene was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on May 28, 1964, a daughter of the late Mary Ann Duppel and John Smith, Jr.   In addition toher parents she was preceded in deatyh by a brother Bruce Smith. Darlene is survived by her companion of 38 years, Barbara Narkiewicz. Darlene is also survived by two sisters, Leann, wife of Robert Vanore, and Susan Smith a brother, John F. III , husband of Patti Smith. She is also survived by Nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held Thursday, April 3, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral; Home Inc. A Religious Service will follow at 7:30 with Pastor Karen Paquette officiating. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral; Home Inc. Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.
