Charles Zambiasi Jr. Obituary

Charles R. Zambiasi Jr., 85, of Minersville, passed away Tuesday, September 27th, at Lehigh Valley Health Schuylkill East, Pottsville. Charles was born in Minersville, Pa. on June 19, 1937, a son of the late Adela (Bolosky) and Charles R. Zambiasi, Sr. He was the husband of Mary Lois (Ammons) Zambiasi. He is a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church of the Holy Family Parish and formerly of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Minersville. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was formerly employed by the Dana Corporation. He was an avid fan of all Philadelphia sport teams. Charles is survived by his wife, Mary, a son, Phillip D., husband of Karen Zambiasi, a daughter, Dione “DeeDee” Zambiasi and her companion, Neil Schenck. Charles is also survived by a sister, Phyllis Shulkusky. He is also survived by Granddaughters, Kayla O'Donnel, Kristen Hoke, and Elissa Zambiasi. Great grandchildren, Arabella & Asher O'Donnel A Religious Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 5th at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. in Minersville with Reverend Jason F. Stokes officiating. All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation from 9:00 to 10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment with military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations made to Alzheimer's Disease Research at www.donate.brightfocus.org/ Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.
