Blanche Marie Charles

Blanche M Charles, 91, of Minersville, passed away Thursday, April 20th, at The Gardens at York Terrace, Pottsville. Blanche was born in Minersville, Pa. on March 23, 1932, a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Williams) and Clayton Zeiler. She was the widow of William T. "Billy" Charles, who died January 31, 1992. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church of theHoly Family Parish, Minersville as well as the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church of Minersville. Blanche was once employed by Pomeroy’s Department Store, Pottsville, The Daisy Boutique of Minersville and the Green Thumb. In addition to her parents, and her husband, Billy, she was preceded in death by by her brothers, Raymond, William, and Robert Zeiler, and sisters, Dorothy Torick, and Alice Malchione. A son-in-law, Joseph Conshue. Blanche is survived by a daughter, Diane Conshue, of Minersville; a son, Richard, husband of Suzanne Charles, of Auburn. Grandchildren Jeb Charles and his companion Regina Olkenson, Jesse Charles, Amanda and Lisa Conshue. Great grandchildren, River and Dahlia Charles. Also surviving is a sister, Elizabeth Callaghan and Niece - Jennifer DeStefano and husband Jim DeStefano and their daughters Brenna and Connor. Nieces and nephews. All services are private. Interment Mount Peace Cemetery. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral home inc., Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.
