Andrew "Rocky" J. Ameden

Andrew J. "Rocky" Ameden, 77, of Minersville, passed away Friday morning, October 11th at LVHN Cedar Crest Hospital, Allentown. Born November 1, 1946 in Pottsville. He was the son of the late Jeanne Louise (Anderko) Ameden. He was a graduate of Minersville High School. Andy was a gentle giant and highly intelligent rebuilding anything from scrap to the reworkings of a computer. He loved working with the sound systems for the local legendary band, The Other Side. He lost his only sibling, a brother Rick in April 2024. Andy is survived by cousins, and his two best friends, Charlie and Jeff. All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment Mount Peace Cemetery. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, entrusted with the arrangements.
